Hi people

Just a quick question. Do 235/45/17 tires fit on a 2G without rubbing the inner fenders? If so, what size (eg. 17 x 7.5) and offset (eg. 45) wheel is recommended for this tire size? Just FYI, my ride has only been lowered 1.3 inches.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanx plenty in advance.

That should work fine, 235 isnt very large, i mean stock rims are 6inch and use 215, and people put on 8 inch, which im sure use at least 245's

You gotta get the rims just right. I had 235/45-17 on 17x8 wheels with 40offset and they just fit with 1" drop.

Some tires are slightly larger and smaller than others, and some wheels are slightly wider or less wide than the advertised number. If you put them on skinnier wheels they'll be slightly less square. If your offset is more than 40+ they'll rub the suspension. My tires were a few MM from the arm. If your offset is less than 38+ or your car lowered more than 1" you'll need to bang in the fender lips, that will get your some more room...
